Headed to the Movies
I chose to photograph the State theater because it is an iconic place in Ann Arbor. There are many historical events that go along with this theater and it has stayed beautiful for a long time. While I was photographing this, there were many problems that occurred. There were many people and streetlights that got in the way. In addition, there were few places to shoot from that had good angles.

Water Spout
Colorful Water
I chose to photograph the fountain because it is well known and interesting to look at. I have come to the fountain with my family for many years and there have been many events held there. The flowing water was very fun to photograph, and there were many good angles. However, the flowing water also got in the way of the camera angle. In addition, the reflections of the water showed the camera, so I had to be careful from where I took the photos.
Archway
Fall Bells
Blue Bells
Rainbow Tower
I chose to photograph the bell tower because it is a very famous place in Ann Arbor. It is also one of the more beautiful places on the college campus. The angle that I had to photograph from was super cool, and I really wanted people to see how this place can look during the fall. People don't get outside enough and I want to show them how pretty the city can be during the seasons. While I was taking pictures, there was a rainbow that appeared next to the tower, and I wanted to include it in my work.

Archway
I chose to photograph Hogwarts, which is a dorm on campus, because of its interesting formations. It is the most expensive dorm at the university, so there is lots of architecture. The arches were very appealing, and even though the building was flat, it was still intriguing. I had a problem with students getting in the frame, which became a real struggle. In addition, since the walkways were covered, the lighting was not great.
Jumping Fish
Mosaic Ceiling
Michigan Dorm
I chose this dorm because the carving/molding was very appealing. There are not many buildings like this in Ann Arbor, and thought that the intricate sculptures were very cool. The brickwork was also very interesting. The color differences are very pretty, and they give the building a very old feel. The lighting in this area was difficult to work with, because the area was covered, and it was a cloudy day.
